Epic Napa Experience

Tuesday, November 22, 2011

Helloooo… Long time no blog!  The good news is that we’re super blessed to be able to travel and have great friends to come visit and have a booming little side business.  The bad news is that I’m sick, a little overwhelmed, and very, very busy!  But hey, who isn’t!

So last weekend, Tyler and I went to Napa Valley with my brother, sister-in-law, and a group of their friends to celebrate a friend’s birthday deemed the Epic Napa Experience.  We’ve gotten to know this group over the last year while celebrating Andy & Christine’s engagement and their wedding.  These super organized people put together a fantastic trip, so all we had to do was send them a check and book a hotel room.  I highly recommend traveling with this St. Louis crew…

I would fill you in on all of the fabulous details, but frankly it’s all a little foggy so I’ll just share my pictures!

We arrived very late Thursday night after a very long travel day… We decided we could’ve flown to Paris in as much time!

We toured wineries and tasted a lot of wine…

We took in the gorgeous views of Napa Valley at harvest.  {Words or pictures don’t do this place justice!}

We ate grapes off the vine…

We stood on the most expensive land in the country…

We hung out with family and fun friends…

Other notables that can’t be depicted: I learned what a bunghole really is, learned the term “butt skin”, and was educated on the Hot-Crazy Linear Relationship.

Sunday morning we reluctantly packed up our stuff and drove back to San Francisco to catch our plane.  This was our first trip to the city together so we decided to sneak in a few touristy stops…

Like driving over the Golden Gate Bridge…

Driving down Lombard Street…

And of course, finding the house from Full House!

We paid for it on Monday morning, exhausted and full from a busy weekend but it was so, so much fun and of course, it’s always great to see family and spend time with great people!

Scratch #10 off the list—Napa was amazing!  I’ll be back tomorrow to announce the winner of the giveaway {nope— I didn’t forget!}.
