The Big 3-2...

What's up gang? I hope y'all had a fantastic weekend. Around here, we celebrated Tyler's birthday which was super fun for me. I love birthdays and think the birthday-ee should be spoiled and made the center of attention. Tyler doesn't get into birthdays as much as I do but after six years together, I think he's starting to get the idea. Or at least learned to play along because I heard no less than 16 times, "But it's my birthday!"

That's the spirit!

More importantly though, I FINALLY GOT AN IPHONE!!!! We spent the whole weekend getting everything set up, picking out apps, and thinking of the most ridiculous questions we can ask Siri. My blackberry was three and a half years old and barely functioning so the whole upgrade in technology is ca-razy! You could've given me a Nokia from 1998 and it would've functioned better than my old phone. Anywho, those dog days are over and i spent the whole weekend documenting every second of our life on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. If you follow me, sorry for the virtual over share!

If you simply can't get enough, here's Tyler's birthday weekend via pictures from the coolest phone in the world.

The morning started with homemade cinnamon apple donut holes and pumpkin coffee...

We did presents early in the day because I just can't keep surprises (even though his gifts were just a bunch of new clothes...).

We enjoyed a great dinner at Evening Star Cafe in Del Ray-- one of our favorite neighborhoods.  Everytime we walk around the avenue, we always comment that we feel like we're in a movie.

Our appetizer-- fried brie with truffle honey and Granny Smith apples. I died.

Isn't he handsome?

And then we tried to take one simple birthday picture and well...we're just not very good at serious sometimes...

It was a great weekend.  Today we did church, made a few exchanges in the mall, grabbed a few accessories for the new phones, and spent the rest of the day hanging out.  Hope y'all had an equally great few days!  Happy Sunday!
