A new season…

Tuesday, November 23, 2010

As we’re entering a new season of holidays and new changes in weather, our family is also heading into a new season of life and marriage.

{No, we’re not having a baby. Sorry!}

Without writing a post that’s overly detailed, overly emotional, or overly boring, I will just say that some complicated things have suddenly taken place in our life over the weekend. It’s been scary, emotional, trying, stressful…

Sorry to be so cryptic, but these changes have happened suddenly and quickly; we have a lot to sort out in the coming weeks.

One thing I know is that we will only grow from this. It would be easy to lose faith, to complain, to cry foul, to criticize… But the Lord is absolutely in charge, in control, and carrying us in the palm of His hand. Though I’m experiencing a healthy amount of fear, I’m also excited to see how this story plays out. It’s humbling to know a Mighty God would take enough interest in US to intercede, to challenge, and to grow us…

I cannot wrap up this post without speaking to the amazing-ness of my husband. He is the hardest working man I know. He is loyal, he is talented, and he is good in the most sincere sense of the word. I am so proud and so lucky that he picked ME.

We would covet your prayers in the coming days and weeks. I can’t wait to share what happens…

“Give thanks to the LORD for he is good. His love endures forever….” Psalm 118:1
